To the knowing, The U.S Midwest has had incalculable contributions to the country and world, holistically but there are still lots of folks who don’t quite understand this. With the opportunity to create the first official Midwest meetup for SXSW, we decided to demonstrate what the Midwest has to offer by creating an experience on a global stage. We created a pop-up experience in which festival goers can experience the greatness of the Midwest by engaging their senses through music, art, food, and tactile activities.
